Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Jimmy's Jug (the "Service"), operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Service
Jimmy's Jug helps organisers run golf fixtures — creating events, collecting entry fees, recording scores, publishing leaderboards, and sharing tournament photos. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an organiser account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, attempt to disrupt the Service, or use it to send spam. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.
5. Intellectual Property
The Jimmy's Jug name, logo, brand, software, source code, layout, user interface, design elements, scoring engine, and all related features are the exclusive property of Jimmy's Jug and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written permission. You retain ownership of the content (player names, scores, photos) you upload, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service for you.
6. Payments & Refunds
Paid features are billed in advance through our payment processor. Tournament entry fees collected from your players are routed to you, the organiser, and are your responsibility to refund where appropriate. Our subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jimmy's Jug, its directors, employees and partners shall not be liable for any tournament disputes between players, scoring errors, handicap miscalculations, prize allocation disagreements, weather-related cancellations, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Final responsibility for scoring accuracy, rules interpretation, and resolution of tournament disputes rests solely with the event organizer. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.
